ALBUM NOTES
This EP includes beloved songs that didn't find their home among Annie Oakley's previous discography and don't quite fit into our upcoming full-length album. Like a pause in a meaningful conversation, we recorded a trio of songs that will give listeners some new music, tell stories, and offer perspective. First up is what many consider our signature song, "Abraham," a story about faith and sacrifice--with questions. Next, not quite a love song or a breakup song, "It Will Always Be You" confesses the conundrum of love. "Happy Again" is about the struggle of a bereaved wife to build a different life after her husband's death.
